We are proud to announce a series of events planned for the rest of 2020. Please put the dates in your diary and we will provide further details a little nearer to the time, as well as addtional events being added throughout the year:
Thursday, 2nd July – our showcase Summer Event – a warm afternoon industry colleague catch up at a London venue TBA
Thursday, 17th September – Manchester Lite Event at a venue to be advised
Thursday, 24th September – Bristol Lite Event at the amazing Riverstation venue
Thursday, 8th October – Lombard Reunion for current & former employees at Farringdon Sports & Leisure Bar
Thursday, 3rd December – The famous Not Beaujolais Day afternoon event at Harrys Bar, Ironmonger Lane
Friday, 18th December – Afternoon Christmas Lunch at the IoD, Pall Mall

Tuesday, 2nd February 2021 – Groundhog Day, here we go again. The famous couples dining night out in London Kings Cross area

Everyone was so busy choosing their Tapas by candlelight at
2020 hours, that the palindromic date (is that even a word?) of 02022020 went
almost unnoticed.
A big thank you goes to all those couples who came out again, this time on a Sunday, to support the AFPA Trust Groundhog Day Dinner and for making it so enjoyable.
This is the only event in the year where all the money raised goes directly towards the funding of AFPA Trust’s own operations and because none of the Board members take anything in return for the charitable time they give AFPA Trust during the year, the funds raised go a very long way to cover unavoidable admin costs, like website support etc., during the year.
Looking ahead 2021 is impacted by the 2020 Leap Year and February the second, Groundhog Day, turns up on a Tuesday. So why not think ahead, hold that date now (02022021) in your long-term diary and plan a night out in London for the two of you? It will be here again before you know it!
